The 48th Super Bowl was played on February 2 in New Jersey, USA, to decide the
champions of the National Football League for the 2013 season. Over 120 million
searches were made on Super Bowl Sunday.
The Indian Premier League is a Twenty20 cricket tournament, and was the first
sporting event to be broadcast live on YouTube. India searched for 'IPL' 24x
more than any other country.

As the Seahawks' defensive line shut down the Broncos, 'defense' owned
'offense' over 14x in search. The Seahawks went on to win the Super Bowl,
and fans in Seattle searched for 'seahawks parade.'

League title. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo was searched 3x more than any
other player during the game.

Daniel Bryan became the new World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXX,
but it was Randy Orton who stole the headlines. His signature move spiked
in search and made him a viral phenomenon.
Rohit makes the record books
Cricketer Rohit Sharma smashed a record-breaking 264 runs against Sri Lanka
in November, the highest-ever individual score in a one-day international.
He spiked over 50x in search and became a hero.
